The Military Riders Academy – Cycle Safe
The Military Riders Academy – Cycle Safe - has been developed for Harley-Davidson Military Sales with one goal in mind…the safety of military riders. This program has been designed to reduce motorcycle crashes and related injuries through continuing rider education.
Over 50% of motorcycle crash fatalities are alcohol related. But even if you take those crashes out of the mix, motorcyclists are still five times more likely to be killed in a crash than their counterparts in automobiles. Twenty-five percent of motorcycle crashes involve riders with six months of riding experience or less.
The Cycle Safe program includes a comprehensive introduction video to some basic safety principles. Many of these same principles are taught in almost every motorcycle safety course. The goal of Cycle Safe is to create Safety Awareness within the military riding community. If it helps to save one person, or prevent one accident…that goal has been accomplished.
As part of our Military Riders Academy, our company pays for motorcycle training for our customers. We urge motorcycle riders to enroll in live programs such as those offered by the U.S. Military, the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, and Riders Edge courses through a local Harley-Davidson dealer.
ENCS will provide a $200 reward to anyone who takes delivery of a motorcycle through Exchange New Car Sales – stateside or overseas - and successfully completes an industry approved and accredited basic motorcycle riders training course.
Plus, when you order your bike through ENCS you automatically become a member of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) which entitles you to another $50 towards the course.
Training Course Criteria
- Courses such as those provided by the following organizations MUST be Motorcycle Industry approved.
- Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) www.msf-usa.org/
- Riders Edge www.ridersedge.com/
- Motorcycle safety courses must include a combination of classroom and hands-on training
Training Course Benefits:
By attending and passing an accredited Motorcycle Training course, you will be entitled to:
- MSF/Ridercourse© completion card
- $200 reward from ENCS
- $50 from H.O.G. with your new membership
How It Works:
Upon completion of the course send a copy of your original receipt along with a copy of your Safety Course ID card or certificate of completion to the following address for your reward. We will send your reward check PLUS a special edition Military Riders Academy patch and pin.
